Sharing and Caring

When I was coming from my hometown back to Bengaluru travelling in 2 tier in Seshadri Express, I encountered a person who works in the railway department and was travelling with me till Vijayawada.  Since they have pass he got into 2 tier and then came and sat before me. As the people occupying my adjacent seats would board the train in Vijayawada (I knew from the Chart list displayed), he too knew the same fact from the TC and then came and sat before me.

I started listening to music and was going to start reading the book "Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus" he was very curious to see that book.  By the way, this book is very good for couple where it throws more light on to understand the relationships better. More on this I may post in the coming future.

Then I started conversing with him and found that he's a Senior Supervisor and he came to my hometown to supervise the Engine repairs. Soon we started having a healthy conversation. He started talking about the relationships and how to guard them. Then he started telling about the wonderful gift of SHARING & CARING.

He tells that most of the time, people always either are centric thiking of themselves or just for their families but care least for the others.  There are many occasions like travelling in trains, buses or when visiting new places or in offices and at homes, we have numerous occasions to interact with people and get to know about things. But, most of the time now-a-days we are just busy with only one thing, MOBILE. This technology has given us lot of benefits of communication but at the same time also made us more centric and all the time we see that people in any state are just medling with their mobiles.  Before this came into our life, atleast we had time to talk to others and share the things. I felt so true when he was telling all these things.  He also tells how small small things when shared could increase the love and fellowship in the family and in the society and caring increases and the bonds become more stronger. Like buying a rose for your beloved or a small suprise gift for the parents or a caring call to our relatives could make things more better.

He also added that people should be more pure and chaste in their lives which makes the family relationship more stronger. Then we started discussing about the cancer of our current society, which is, my dear friends, Bribe.  After so many days, I really felt so happy meeting such a person, who had wonderful thinking and ideas and ideals which makes me think that how could be grab all the concepts of the Bahai faith (www.bahai.org) which talks even the same things, but even at a more higher perspective.

Then after sometime he went to sleep and I thought that once he wakes up I could take his number, but, alas, then I slept and in the midnight he got down in Vijayawada junction. I felt so bad that I could get his contact details and I missed the friendship of such a wonderful person.

I think that there are so many wonderful things that we can do in life and the more we do them for others the more we get real happiness.  Life is just not to live for us but to live for others.  This is what which makes the life more beautiful and memorable, even after we leave this mortal world.

Happy Journey...!!!
